On September 18, 2008, Beverly Kohl was volunteering on the Oklahoma Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Team in Baton Rouge, LA, following Hurricane Gustav, when she fainted after a long day’s work, and fell 5 feet to the ground below, leaving her paralyzed from the chest down.

Going home!
We're finally going home! We're headed to Tahlequah tomorrow (Friday, January 9th)!! Beverly will be arriving home sometime in the early afternoon in Chris's white van! No more hospitals! Just....HOME!!!
