Happy New Year!

Beverly, Pauletta and Steve said goodbye to 2008 and all agreed they were glad to have the year end! Steve brought munchies to her room and a friend from California sent party supplies to help celebrate. We learned on January 1st that the "tooting of the horns" is a great respiratory therapy, so we did it over and over. We can only imagine the patients in adjoining rooms could not figure out what we were doing all day, tooting and tooting our hours. (Check on the latest picture on the photos link.)

We're all looking forward to a good 2009, with great strides of recovery for Beverly. She is looking forward to her return to Tahlequah and we're eager to work out the details of living space, remodeling, continued therapy, equipment, finances, transportation and continued medical care. Jim Thorpe will help with some of the details but there is much to work out within the next two weeks.

New Year's Day schedule was only one half day of therapy, and then time to rest and relax.

Happy New Year to you all and thanks for checking in on Beverly!
