I just left Beverly's room. She continues to breathe with the C-Pap machine and they have removed it a few times in order for her to receive additional breathing treatments. I read her the cards she's received and the emails she's received and she really enjoyed that. After listening to the emails and cards, she told me she was tired and wanted to go on to sleep. She asked me to tell the nurse that she wanted more ativan...the medicine that helps her relax so that she can get some good rest. I told her she had several new emails and she smiled about that but told me she was too tired to listen tonight. I promised I would read them tomorrow, first thing in the morning. When I left for the night, she said, "I'll see you in the morning." The C-PAP machine is giving her 50% of her breath right now.
