When I had the 10am visit with Deedy, the nurse said she was no longer having assisted breathing, but is initiating all the breaths on her own. The pulmonary doctor wants to continue this all day (rather than an hour at a time) and through the night just to be certain she no longer needs assistance breathing. So, now we're hoping the ventilator is removed tomorrow morning. She can't wait of course. She's so eager to talk and to be more comfortable.


Since there are no other issues right now except her breathing, I will wait to update in the morning, unless there is any change. Thanks for checking in and for praying for her.
