It wasn't a very good night for Beverly. She had some breathing and coughing problems around 1:00am, followed by a headache. She said it took the nurse around 45 minutes just to get her some Tylenol - and this "set her off". She can't wait to write her speech for nursing conventions entitled "From Both Sides Now". She has a different perspective of nursing, now that she's been on the "other side." The power that a nurse holds in her hands with two Tylenol tablets! She is so sorry she had to cancel Norma's visit but was just too tired for a visit today. She rested and listened to more of "The Shack".


The last couple of nights Beverly and Chris have watch movies on Chris's computer. Great way to alter the monotony of the evenings in ICU!

You may not know that when Beverly had her accident, both of her big toenails were damaged and have turned black. Today Janie gave her a pedicure and painted all her toenails RED - they look great! A couple of days ago I took a picture of Beverly sitting up in her "chair", wearing her purple shawl. What do you think? Doesn't she look wonderful??
