It was a quite day at the OU Medical Center. Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists don't work on the weekends so Beverly had a restful day. She had her usual facial and foot bath and Janie helped her exercise her arms and shoulders plus range of motion exercises with her legs and feet. We continued listening to "The Shack", only a couple of more CDs before finishing this interesting story. Deedy went down another level on the pressure support and continues to make progress towards getting off the ventilator. This is the only thing keeping her in the ICU.
She enjoyed a visit with her nephew Brad and his wife Amy who drove over from Tahlequah. They brought a basketful of thoughtful gifts including a DVD and a book on tape. She can't wait to get started on these. Thanks for driving all the way over here - It made her day!
